The Simple Woman's Daybook, October 19th

For Today

October 19, 2009

Outside my window....the sun is shining brightly.

I am thinking...about how much I need to get done but haven't gotten around to doing.

I am thankful for....the huge weight that has been lifted off of my shoulders by the events of last week and the opportunity for the weeks events to make a huge impact on my family's future.

From the kitchen....I just finished making homemade hoagie rolls for tonight's Meatball Hoagies.

I am wearing... blue jeans and an old long sleeved tee-shirt

I am creating....the girls Halloween costumes. It's down to crunch time and I need to get them finished this week.

I am run a few errands before picking the kids up from school this afternoon.

I am hearing....nothing. Silence really is golden.

Around the house....I have a lot of laundry that needs to be done.

A few plans for the week....nothing. Isn't it wonderful?

  1. This is such a neat idea. I enjoyed reading your thoughts for the day. I just wanted to thank you for participating in Crock Pot Wednesday last week and to invite you to join in again this week. Mister Linky is already up and waiting for you. There's a giveaway going on:)

  2. My goodness, you are the first person I have heard of that makes hoagie roll. You must be a great cook. I enjoyed reading your blog. See you next week. Doylene
