We had originally planned on taking the kids to the Children's Museum yesterday but the weather was so beautiful we did not want to be indoors. With 70 degree days in November, the museum can wait until the yucky winter days when there is snow on the ground. Since we decided not to go to the museum we decided to stay home and grill out. We cooked steaks out on the grill along with our Bacon Wrapped Cabbage and our Seasoned Potatoes. It was a very delish meal and perfect grilling weather.
As I was cooking the potatoes I realized that I had not yet shared my Seasoned Potatoes recipe here yet. So here we go!
3-5 large potatoes, cubed
1 small onion, diced
4 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon seasoned salt
In a small bowl mix potatoes, onions, and seasoned salt. Place mixture in an aluminum pouch, and add butter to top of mixture. I usually break the butter up and spread it across the top of the pouch. You can cook these on the grill for about forty-five minutes, or if you are not using your grill you can cook in a 450 degree oven.
