Celebrating New Years Eve with Family

I have never been one to go out on New Year's Eve, in fact I have never gone out on New Year's Eve. That is why ever since the kids have been born we have celebrated New Years Eve at home.

After supper we all got comfy in our pajamas and started the night off playing some games.

The seriousness of the game got to Little Man after a while and he needed a break from it all...

And that is why he turned his sister's bracelets into earrings.

After we played some games we had a "birthday cake" to celebrate the New Year. I honestly have no idea why Little Man looks so mad here.

And I can not take credit for the "birthday cake" idea. I found the idea on a blog and knew I just had to use it. Unfortunately I visit sooo many blogs I can't remember which one I found it on. I would love to give credit where credit is due here so I will try to find the post again.
After we had our cake we curled up on the couch to watch Rudolph's Shiny New Year, and then watch the ball drop. We all made it to midnight but some of us barely made it.
I hope you all had as glorious a New Years as we did!
