Tempt My Tummy Tuesday - Homemade Cole Slaw
There are several great cole slaw recipes around but this one is my favorite.
1 small head of cabbage
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup mayo
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1. In a food processor, process both cabbage and carrots.
2. Place processed cabbage and carrots in a large bowl. Add in all other ingredients, and stir well.
3. Cover with plastic wrap and place in refridgerator. Cole slaw has it's best flavor if you wait 24 to 48 hours before eating.
