Menu Plan Monday June 13th to 19th

Join us at I'm An Organizing Junkie for Menu Plan Monday.
It's tournament time around here for baseball and softball so I have no idea how this week will turn out.  Little Man plays his first game tonight and Sunshine has her first game tommorow night.  If they lose the season is over for them but if they win they will play later this week.  So this is kind of a fly by the seat of my pants Menu Plan that is subject to change depending on games.

Monday - Fish, Baked Beans, Au Gratin Potatoes Tuesday - Brown Sugar and Pineapple Ham, Mashed Potatoes, Corn Wednesday - Polynesian Sausage Supper Thursday - Too much to do to eat at home so we will be eating out Friday - White Bean and Ham Soup Saturday - Eating Out Before Church Sunday - Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Spontaneous Joy?

Are you spontaneous?  Once upon a time I was spontaneous but then as our kids got older and our calendar filled with activities for kids spontaneity just wasn't in the plans.  Somewhere along the way I became a very type A personality that had to have everything planned out which really firmly kicked spontaneity out the door. 

However this weekend after a cancelled ball game opened up a few days in our calendar I decided to give in to spontaneity and brought up the idea of going camping.  My husband, who is Mr. Spontaneous, was over the moon at the idea and within a few hours we were packed up, camper in tow, headed to the campground with the idea of spending two nights. 

When we got to the campground it was incredibly hot, and since the pool closed at 6 PM it was too late to go to the pool but we kept telling the kids we would go to the pool the next day.  We got everything set up, cooked hot dogs over the fire for supper and were having a great time.

Menu Plan Monday June 6th -12th

Join us for Menu Plan Monday at I'm an Organizing Junkie.
It's another busy week around here.  Volleyball camp in the morning for the girls.  Baseball and softball games at night for all the kids.  It's another round of quick and easy meals for us this week.
Monday - eating out, we are just too busy to cook
Tuesday - Pineapple Chicken
Wednesday - Caramelized Onion Pork Chops, Baked Potato Wedges
Thursday - Smoked Sausage Au Gratin Skillet
Friday - Pineapple Ham (recipe coming soon), Mashed Potatoes, Corn
Saturday - Eating out Before Church
Sunday - ???
