Baked Parmesan Ranch Chicken Breasts

It's been a while since I posted a recipe, so I thought it was about time to share a new one, and an easy one at that.  

I don't know what the weather is where you are but we are snowed in here.  As in we can't get to the grocery store.  Unfortunately this momma didn't believe all the hype about the snow we were going to get so she didn't go to the grocery store because we have a well stocked pantry, or so I thought.  Let's just say this recipe was made out of necessity because we have run out of a lot of things.  Tomorrow will be the fourth day in a row of no school with even my college cancelling classes.


 So today I made some Baked Parmesan Ranch Chicken Breasts with what we had on hand.  These are easy to make and have a lot of flavor.  My whole family loved them, including my picky eater, who always opts for just a plain chicken breast.


Ingredients:
5 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts 
6 Tablespoons Butter
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese ( I used real shredded Parmesan Cheese but the powdered kind will work)
1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
3 Tablespoons Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning



In one bowl mix together your bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning.


In a second bowl melt your 6 tablespoons of butter.


Place your chicken breasts in the melted butter, coating both sides of the chicken.  Remove your chicken from the butter, then place in the bowl  with your mixture of bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and Ranch seasoning, making sure to cover both sides of the chicken.  Once you have coated your chicken place on a pan sprayed with cooking oil.



Place in oven that has been preheated to 375 degrees and bake for 35 minutes or until cooked all the way through.
